Cincinnati Creation Museum A Walk Through Biblical History
4 Days May 4 - 7, 2010
Day 1 Cincinnati, OH
Today, we enjoy a relaxing drive the to the Riverside city of Cincinnati, Ohio. You will have a wonderful view of the downtown from our comfortable accommodation across the river in Covington.
Day 2 Cincinnati, OH
A deep German heritage exists here, and you can still find that legacy in both towns today. Our local guide will point out sights of interest in the city. During the tour we visit the Basilica of the Assumption where you get a glimpse of the magnificent stained glass window. At 67 ft high and 24 ft wide, it is the worlds largest.
Our afternoon will be spent at The Creation Museum. It features amazing scientific and biblical answers for the world we live in today, bringing the pages of the Bible to life.
Travel back in time to the dawn of Creation, where you will enjoy a panoramic theater presentation of the first Six Days of Creation from the first chapter in Genesis. At the conclusion of the museums walk through, take a seat in the Last Adam Theatre for a dramatic and powerful presentation. Enjoy a walk throughout the museum’s beautifully themed gardens featuring nearly a mile of paved and accessible trails plus so much more!
Day 3 Cincinnati, OH
You will have a bit of free time this morning before we board the River Queen for a delightful luncheon cruise on the Ohio River. Tastefully decorated and impeccably preserved, the River Queen exudes romantic riverboat-era charm. After the cruise, we make our way to the Newport Aquarium. View some of the world's most unusual and stunning creatures that are showcased in the 13 exhibits. A highlight will definitely be the acrylic underwater tunnels that wind their way through a 385,000-gallon tank offering a view like no other. We return to our hotel for the night.
Day 4 Home
We leave this interesting city and return through Dayton and Toledo on our way back home.
